Finding Locations

The success of your vending business depends primarily on the location of your vending machine. Below are some tips that will help you make wise choices in vending machine locating and the placement of your vending equipment.

1. Common sense.
If a location doesn’t feel right or look right to you, don’t go for it, it is as simple as that. When you are scouting for locations, you already have an idea of what you are looking for, so if you don’t find it, don’t settle for second best. Companies such as Planet Antares Inc. will provide you with quality vending machines as well as all the vending information that can help you start your business. If you use a locator to find a location, make sure that you ask any questions that you will have about the location.

2. The location.
Go out on your own to study some of the locations in your local area. Find out which machines are popular and which locations work best for which location. To get all this information, you just need to sit and watch people. A Planet Antares vending machine sells snack and beverages, so in this case you would need to look for locations with high foot traffic. These are places that will always have demands for such products. If you spot a location with no vending machines, don’t be quick to place your vending machines there, because there are high chances that the vending machines don’t do well in that location and that could be why no one else has used the location.

3. Bulk vending machines.
These are machines that should not be placed in all types of locations. Not all locations work very well for bulk vending machines. These machines can have items such as gumballs, candy and so on. Place these machines near places such as cash registers, exits and entrances. Cash registers work well because when a parent has change after paying for a purchase, they can easily use the change to buy for their kid who might be demanding for some candy.

4. Snack, Soda, and combination vending.
Planet Antares vending machines offer these kind of items. These machines require completely different types of locations from bulk machines because they are larger in size and they offer totally different products. These types of machines do well in businesses which have at least 50 employees. The bigger the machine, the more employees needed. Locations such as factories and other blue collar locations also work well for such locations. These machines should also be placed in high foot traffic locations as well.

5. Locators.
If you are using a locator to look for a location, make a point of asking all the necessary questions. Give the locator an idea of where you want the locations to be. When the locator goes out scouting for the location, accompany the locator so that you can learn how to secure the location by yourself. Don’t let the locator push you around, you have the right to say yes or no to the locations presented.
